Palm OS 5.4 Palm Treo 650 Experience push email and wireless synchronization with Kerio MailServer using the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync® protocol. |
The latest Palm Treo™ smartphones running Palm OS ship with a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync® client allowing users to push email and wirelessly synchronize their local contacts and calendars with a back-end server.
Kerio MailServer talks directly to Palm Treo smartphones utilizing the Exchange ActiveSync protocol. There's no need for additional software or service.
Push email requires the VersaMail 3.5 email client which ships with Palm Treo 680, Palm Treo 700p and Palm Treo 755p.
You will need to install Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) Update to add Direct Push features to your Palm Treo 680 (Unlocked GSM), Palm Treo 700p and Palm Treo 650.
The Palm VersaMail 3.5 Support page will give you instructions on how to purchase and install VersaMail 3.5 on Palm Treo 650.
Make sure you have VersaMail 3.5 installed on your Palm Treo smartphone. In the account setup of VersaMail, choose Exchange ActiveSync as the Mail Service type and enter in your username, password, email address and your Kerio MailServer address.
Palm provides user guides, instructions, software updates, troubleshooting tips on the Palm VersaMail 3.5 Support page.

I just finished moving my system and data to the new vServer. Thanks for the great support, everything is working really fine so far. And even with 5700 miles between us, it is very fast, you won’t believe it! Downloads are at more than 900 K/s. Thanks for the great support.
