ZZ Servers provides a powerful virtual private server platform (VPS) using Linux and the Xen architecture. You can configure your own server with complete root access or upgrade to one of our flexible management plans and let us take care of it for you.

Because we use the Xen, our VPS platform is lean and secure. Unlike other VPS platforms, we cannot oversell resources such as RAM. Our VPS servers have superb resource partitioning for CPU, memory, and block and network I/O. This resource protection leads to improved security and DoS-proof drivers.

What is a virtual server?

A virtual server is simply a server operating system, such as Red Hat Advanced Server, SUSE SLES, or Microsoft Windows Server 2003, together with its application workload running on the server. Rather than controlling hardware directly, the OS instance accesses hardware through the VPS software, which also has the ability to share the hardware resources with other visualized OS instances and applications.
